From The Osprey Encycolpedia of Russian Aircraft : "Col Bedunkovich never had his own OKB, but recently (maybe 1995, I suppose) a 3-view has been found of a 47 project for a heavily armed Shturmovik, noted for its twin-boom layout making possible a rear turret. Guns: 2x37mm, 1x20mm, 5x7,62mm. Not explained is the title: Odnomotornyi (single-engined)".
3 view shows a twin-boomed aircraft, with two propellers in the nose of each tail-boom, heavy armament in the nose of nacelle and a turret in the rear. The engine was buried in the middle fuselage with a big air intake under the belly and smaller on top, propellers driven via shafts ang gears; hence the explanation of "single-engined".
Incorrect date 1947, maybe 1939-40.

Anyone knows more?

I'm enclosing the blueprint for the Bedunkovich attack project.

I don't know if it's the same Bedunkovich, but there was an aircraft designer from Leningrad called Anatoly G. Bedunkovich who designed an agricultural aircraft called the SKh-1 (also known as the LIG-10. It was a biplane with a spacious cabin, looking a bit like an undersize Antonov An-2.

See: http://www.airwar.ru/enc/cw1/sx1.html

Bedunkovich also designed a small biplane trainer, the LK-4 (or NIAI-4) in 1934.

Anatoliy Georgievich Bedunkovich. Yes, is the same!
Someone argues SKh-1 is An-2 ancestor (also named SKh at the begins).

Hi Visvirtusvoluntas,

I think the answer comes as following; if we imagine there was a single engined
driven two propellers,just my theory.

And for Stargazer, yes he worked for NIAI.

Thank you my dear Borovik,

and as I expected.

NIAI project - 1946 years (responsible for project engineer A. Bessonov / taken as a basis of his the degree project)
Dobrynin engine M-250 (liquid cooled)
A.Bedunkovich "Designing an airplane" 1948

We must transfer this topic to Postwar Aircraft Projects section.

Now I more puzzled than before. That is the only detailed plans of one aircraft in the book. Why? Is that project an example for the book ?
Sorry but I just know one word in russian :p

I found the pdf here, but seems to be removed.
