The wings and undercarriage looks like a bigger version than the one in the ca.64 fighter.

Certianly does. I've never come across this before. I find the idea of a heavy fighter in the early 20s interesting. Would anyone have any ideas regarding rate of climb?

Thanks for the data Maveric. The wingspan it's just 1,75 meters more than the ca.64 but it's shorter: 8,80 m vs 9,05 m.
Looks like the Ca.65 was a little heavy fighter or the Ca.64 a big fighter.

Yes, it's more plausible and after work a bit with the drawings and dimensions as you can see in the post about the ca.64 the dimensions for the ca.65 are a lot more logical.

I'm sorry but in my source there are very few info about the Ca.65 and all development. Nothing is said about the engine and the technical data only explain the purposed powers and dimensions...
