My friend said that during the first two decades of the early Cold War. The British STT has designed a series of very distinctive blueprint tanks and a small number of prototype vehicles actually built.
These new tanks used to meet the needs of the new era of warfare and against the Soviets, such as -3, T10.

Where can I find more design information about these vehicles and more similar vehicle development plans and drawings?

 
You may find this site of interest.

Over the years the Army has regularly run awareness / training courses for their different branches where design studies were undertaken as part of the course. Not just at the STT but also Staff courses and specific design / technology courses at RMCS. Generally these studies were graded Restricted or Confidential so limited access to results. Current, at the time, General Staff Targets (GST) or Requirements (GSR) were often used as a start point for the work. The aim was to pull together the course learning into a combined whole.
