Boulton Paul P.103 naval fighter for Spec. N7/43

Hi,


the Boulton Paul P.103 was a lightweight naval fighter project,intended
to the Specification N7/43,the P.103 was based on Defiant and was offered
with alternative engines,the P.103A with the Griffon RG5.SM and the P.103B
with the Bristol Centaurus CE 12 SM,both driving contra-rotating propellers,
also it had a bubble canopy.

Perhaps because the P.103 was to N.7/43 but, by 1943, Boulton Paul Aircraft had already become one of three satellite firms within the Fairey Barracuda Group (along with Blackburn and Westland).
