I'm trying to build a free flight model of the Berliner-Joyce XFJ-2, and i need good plans. I'm aware of 2 3-view drawings, one from an aircraft year book and another from: http://www.airwar.ru/enc/fww1/fj2.html, however they are very grainy and don't show much detail, and they don't look very accurate compared to real photos.
I'm also aware of 3 different model plans: one free flight plan that I'm using which IS great, however there is no top view shown, or fuselage formers (i could calculate the design for those if a top view was provided), a very inaccurate plan from the 1930's, and a very accurate 49" plan published in the June 2005 issue of Flying Models, but i would prefer to keep my $20+. i COULD use the top view from the grainy 3 views alongside the plan I'm already using, but I'm worried due to the fact that there are some inaccuracies, but they would be very subtle so i don't really care.
In the end, I can make a good model with what I have, but im asking here to see if anyone has anything to make it a little easier.
