I saw this as a young teen on TV years ago and loved it. Then came Top Gun which was a total ripoff. If you haven't seen this movie, then you NEED to see this movie.

Just Hunters instead of Tomcats, Anne Aubrey instead Kelly McGillis and it was all about getting into an elite aerobatic team instead of attending an elite training unit. The basic naturally talented individual moulding into a team message is the same.
