B-58 LACE testbed

A 1962 Lockheed concept for a Liquid Air Cycle Engine testbed. Wouldn't go faster than a B-58, sadly... the airframe was speed-limited.

...And the LACE was from whom? Marquardt?

Doesn't actually say. At this relatively early date, I suspect that it was just a Lockheed concept, with details to be worked out later by an engine contractor... Marquardt or P&W, most likely. The drawing, as you can see, isn't that detailed.
