Army Scout after LHX...RAH...ARH

It seems to me the Raider would be ideal for this mission. Just sayin'.

An alternate manned-unmanned pairing would be Apache with NG's TERN (assuming it's successful). TERN might obviate the need for a separate AAS.

The Army does not yet believe that Aeroscouting only involves looking through a sensor. Recent experience has shown that in some instances, such as major urban areas, reliance on sensors can be less adequate. There is also a growing concern that unmanned systems with no warning systems or countermeasures are becoming increasingly vulnerable to air defense fires. A manned scout will at least react to fires.

I believe they are looking at four /six passengers, in order to satisfy the needs of the special community.
