Argus Pulse Jet Fighter

Dr.-Ing Fritz Gosslau was engine designer for the Argus company, which had started the
development of a pulse jet engine from 1939 onwards. The "Fzg-76"(Flak-Zielgerät=
AAA target), later, when built by Fieseler Fi-103 and much better known as "V 1" principally
was his idea. In 1944, still working for Argus, he drew a design for a small fighter, powered
by two As-014 engines, the same as in the V 1.
Length would have been 7,60 m, span 5,30 m, TOW 2,200 kg, range 400 km and ceiling
9,600 m. Estimated max. speed was about 1000 km/h

In "Geheimprojekte der Luftwaffe" Band III , it is shown with the engines very close to the fuselage ...Anyway , I imagine what happens when the two engines were in resonance !

Stated as "Argus", which principally was just an engine manufacturer. This design seems to goes back
to a kind of private initiative of Prof. Gosslau.
