Whoever did those drawings on the website went to a lot of effort. But.........

The double-delta may work. Just maybe. Look no further than the X-37B.

And some of the pure delta designs mirror the early NASP configurations before the lifting body design was finalized.

However I really doubt the rest of those confiurations will work, especially the swept wings. Plus the nose is a bit pointy. That's just asking for all kinds of heating trouble during flight and reentry.

The actual X-30 was designed the way it was so it could perform in the flight regime it was designed for. There was a reason for the fat spatula nose and the tiny aft wings.

I think these alternate wing designs, however nice they might look, would cause so much drag and heating from flight, they'd burn right off. Unless you have deflector shields onboard ;), it's just not going to happen.

I'm not professional like Scott or some of the others here and even I can see the immediate flaws.
