Profile of the Brewster 639 (1942), an improvement project for the F4U Corsair which, at the start of its career, was a difficult aircraft to land on an aircraft carrier.
This project will not be developed and the British will have the idea of an appropriate angle of approach during landings on aircraft carriers, which the Americans will quickly put to good use.
(facebook page "Avions moches, bizarres, ratés, projets abandonnés et aviation insolite " attracted my attention of this project).
Anyone know more about this project ? I know could be find more on Fana de Aviation.

Completely fake.
Made by David Chudoba (his signature is visible in the profile) and originally posted on 17 July on Facebook's "What if" and "Alternate History" model group.
Original profile made by Bob Aikens.

Exercising some more due diligence before reposting material found elsewhere would be nice.
