This doesn’t contradict the narrative. MH-6s are C-130 transportable. They were brought along either to support the ground element or possibly pull the WSO from the mountain. When the MC-130s got stuck, they cant just fly the MH-6s out. They would be destroyed along with it.Seems the helo rotor could be from a MH-6. So this contradicts the US narrative of being "stuck in the sand".

except :From this? Everyone is losing.
Developing story, therefore this could very well be a possibility. That said though, it seems Jennifer Griffin mentioned "several" US service members as wounded related to the first rescue op, where both Blackhawks sustained damage from ground fire.Apparently official statements contradict Trump's claim of no casualties, even wounded.

Seems they used C-295 and Dash-8 for the evacuation, after the much heavier C-130s became stuck in soft ground. Obviously MH-6 helicopters wouldn't fit inside the smaller cargo planes, hence that's why they were incinerated.

Geez, what a mess. Glad they brough the F-15 WSO back to home, but at a pretty insane cost. Of course OH-6 and C-130 are easily replaceable.
Pardon me, talking about actual people rather than those folk you mentioned, hardly fair to classify them with the rest of us, IMHO, of course.except :
- The bastards making millions on oil and stocks speculation while being well informed of what next "genius" declaration from the White House.
- Putin, who can now sell his oil at twice the price of two months ago, which eases the pressure on the Russian economy and allows him to continue funding his own stupid war.
- The IRGC, who in fact, controls most of Iranian economy, including oil export of course, now also make twice the profit from what they can sell while not caring a f*k about the Iranian people.
- The most fanatical and extremist IRGC leaders who remain, who are rising to positions of power one after the other as those currently in power are killed by the targeted assassination campaign – which is, in fact, the aim of the campaign...
With only fanatics left in power, one can shout “surrender!” for the show as much as one like, there is no longer any room for negotiation, and the war can go on.
gigabased wallahi, I'll stand on this.
- Said "Praise be to Allah"
An US citizen being regarded so high. Iranian lives so low.If the U.S. deaths of this operation can be kept below two, then I consider it a success.
War is not a crime. So, on Easter Sunday, Trump has:
This man is evil and his supporters are evil.
- Threatened war crimes
- Used an expletive on his personal social media platform
- Said "Praise be to Allah"
- Moved the deadline for the start of war crimes from today to Tuesday
When war is waged on behalf of ego and ignorance, it bloody well is.War is not a crime.
Targeting/killing civilians and destroying civilians infrastructures is a warcrime, at time of war :War is not a crime.
But of course, that's for educated/civilized people, not the ones currently in power in any of the parties involved currently and their followers. The targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure during armed conflict is explicitly prohibited under international humanitarian law, and such acts are considered war crimes. Here are the key official texts that specify these prohibitions:
1. Geneva Conventions (1949) and Additional Protocols
- Fourth Geneva Convention (1949): This convention is dedicated to the protection of civilians during times of war. It prohibits attacks on civilians and civilian objects, and requires that parties to a conflict distinguish between military objectives and civilian populations and objects.
- Additional Protocol I (1977): Article 51(2) states that "the civilian population as such, as well as individual civilians, shall not be the object of attack." Article 52(1) further specifies that "civilian objects shall not be the object of attack or of reprisals." Article 54 prohibits attacks on objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population, such as food, water, and medical supplies.
2. Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (1998, amended 2010)
- Article 8 of the Rome Statutedefines war crimes, including:
- "Intentionally directing attacks against the civilian population as such or against individual civilians not taking direct part in hostilities" (Article 8(2)(b)(i) and 8(2)(e)(i)).
- "Intentionally directing attacks against buildings, material, medical units and transport, and personnel using the distinctive emblems of the Geneva Conventions in conformity with international law" (Article 8(2)(b)(ix)).
- "Intentionally using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare by depriving them of objects indispensable to their survival, including wilfully impeding relief supplies as provided for under the Geneva Conventions" (Article 8(2)(b)(xxv) and 8(2)(e)(xix)).
3. Customary International Law
- The prohibition of attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure is also recognized as a norm of customary international law, binding on all states regardless of treaty ratification.

Says one from the country of which pretty much the whole leadership are wanted war criminals and who's behind the most appalling massacre and genocide of civilians in our time, and who's 'lobby' is behind this war in the first place.War is not a crime.
GLOCs and DIB are legitimate targets. When war is waged on behalf of ego and ignorance, it bloody well is.
As amusing as it is to watch one of world leaders throw a tantrum like an 8-year old, the relative 'success' of CSAR operation deep within Iran is very likely to give him ideas on limited ground operation, aimed at securing Iranian supply of enriched uranium. Things might get very messy very soon.Meanwhile the american 'president'. No comment.
