After much inquisition and a threat of my sister calling in my stead, they pointed out that a new credit card when updated in "My account", does NOT impact pre ordered items and they could not have told me that before or, "You would have known and we do not know who you are".
It is after all the communication generation. Lots of people talking a lot, just not to each other.
Perhaps they think I am an ai?
I have looked after the now 95 year old ex WRAF officer for about 8 years now because she was eating two cubes of cheese and a cracker for her main meals or tryiong to cook frozen sausages from frozen and wondering why she could not eat them..... I even HAD a third party mandate on her bank account to make sure her bills were paid.
Suddenly this is not good enough and I have to scan the bills before sending them to her nephew in Germany to pay said bills. Obviously the bank method saves SOOO much time and effort.
I explain she is still in hospital where she has been since november and I cannot get her verification but apparently I have to go there and makes sure she tells them who she is. Then again the social care team have billed £4k for care while she is in hospital too so feeking up seems on the rise.

since I couldn’t wait to order the hardcopy from the Dutch aviation bookstore “AviationMegastore,” I decided to grab the ePub version for my eBook reader Tolino right after my "Feierabend". ;):D
On Thalia.de, the ePub version is priced at just 14.99 Euros.
Since this book has more text than pictures, the small screen of the Tolino eBook reader works quite well for me.
Looking forward to reading it, with a review coming soon here and on Thalia.de. :)

After talking on the radio today I went to Brooklands Museum.

There's more to Jump Jet than just the Harrier.

This picture captures the first half of the book (before Maggie!). P.1121, TSR2, P.1127.

Happy wedding anniversary. Glad you have your priorities in order, but I hope you like it when you get to it.
 
Read the first two chapters already and I'm enjoying it so far. Got me thinking about this rather remarkable multiple exposure from the January 1981 National Geographic which I used too ooh and ah at all the time when I was 10. Unfortunately, try as it might, I can't find a higher quality version of anywhere online.

Got mine yesterday, also delivered from Blackwells. At work, but plan on starting it as soon as the manager has gone home ;)

Found the stealthy P.1216 though. Nice looking design!

It’s funny how minor changes to an aircraft’s layout can change your opinion on it from “nah…” to “oh yes!” Some P.1216 studies looked a little clunky while others looked really sleek.
