So I need to actually come there, no PDF file to buy

No, you just need to register online as a user, select the item, request a page count and get and estimate of the cost to copy as a pdf. You can then choose to order or not. I won't be cheap, but if you want the document.........

Ooooooh! I see what you mean now --- they moved frame 5 further forward compared to a Spitfire's frame 5.
Just to clarify, it’s not that Frame 5 was moved forwards, rather that the spar attachments and centre section were moved rearwards (by 5 inches to be exact) — the length of the Spiteful is identical to a Spit Mk 22 or 24 for instance — moving F5 forward would necessitate moving the engine forward which is not the case. The fact that the bulkhead is cranked forward slightly above the spar in comparison to other two-stage Griffon Spitfires also doesn’t help.

Due to the difference in fuel tank arrangement, some of the frames from F5 to the cockpit seem to be in different positions, but rearwards on they are laid out the same as all Spitfires. Fuselage and frame geometry below the datum longeron is identical to all marks of Spitfire, with frame 19 being common to both Spitfire and Spiteful, and the side/plan view of the fuselage from frame 19 to frame 11 being the same as the earlier high-back Spitfire fuselage, though the cross section above the datum is different to account for the raised cockpit.

Incidentally, I am planning to make a highly accurate 3D model for flight simulator use of the Spiteful and would love if anyone had any original manufacturers drawings I would be able to use and would be willing to share.
