LE 4000 lift engines

1961 saw the launch of the US Tri-Service V/STOL transport specification. Amongst the many entries was one from Boeing-Wichita. The Model 900 featured a pair of GE 700 engines as its main powerplant. To enable the aircraft to have vertical capability. It used a battery of 12 x LE 4000 lift engines mounted in two pods, five on each side.
Does anyone know any details of the LE 4000 engine, as I do not seem to be able to find anything on the web regarding these engines, not even a manufacturer. I attach a drawing of the Model 900 with some text.

Also, given the Model 900 also used two GE CF700 engines for forward propulsion, I wonder if the lift engines might have been CF700-2V turbofan 4,200 lbf (thus close to the "4000" number) thrust as the same engine was used in the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle:
