According to US Central Command, four of the six crew members aboard the aircraft have been confirmed dead as rescue operations continue. The incident remains under investigation, but the loss of the aircraft was not the result of hostile or friendly fire.According to US Central Command, a USAF Boeing KC-135 was lost over Iraq.
