Hi, am trying to find out a bit more about the English Electric P.36, P. 41 and P.44 VSTOL transport programmes.
My knowledge is currently based on the Putnam's description for the three:
P.36 was a V/STOL freighter to OR 351 and NATO requirement NBMR 4,
1960-1961.
P.41 was a military freight aircraft to NATO requirement NBMR 4
employing an air cushion undercarriage. July 1962
P.44 was a various studies for V/STOL freight aircraft for the RAF and to
NATO requirement NBMR 4. December 1962-January 1964
The only pictorial evidence I have is the two already posted on the forum which I attach to see if they help jog any memories.
