Destruction of documented information is a road to Orwellian dictatorship, regardless of the alledged "ideology" behind it.
So those piles of books aren't going to be ignominiously dumped in the nearest landfill by wilfully ignorant fools?
I remember this happening under the Harper government in Canada - there were literally dumpsters full of books
