Merriman's Submarine Modelling Masterclass

Scrolling through your posts is like watching a silent movie without inter titles, or a French pantomime at work - oh, wait - is that why you wore that black/white striped T-Shirt in one of your recent posts??? It sure looks like you're just trying to dazzle/entice/impress fellow forum members without actually *documenting* any of your process in text form in order to share and advance the craft. Psychologically insecure much, maybe?
LOL. I'm nuts, that was established a long time ago. Psychologically insecure? You betcha!... the most dangerous kind of person to back into a corner. But, to your main point...

...No

I omit the text simply because I don't have the time to address every possible detail of what I picture.

I assume that most of you out there have the ability to figure out meaning from the imagery presented. And if you can't make out meaning; yet have a strong desire for narrative to clear up something; all you need do is ask a pointed question -- as has been demonstrated many times on this thread already: simply post a note (like this one, martinbayer) stating your point of interest, and desire for some clarification in the form of narration, and I will write something up for you -- and possibly accompany that text with more photographs -- to illustrate the process/mechanism/presentation better.

I strive for clarity. And that's how we'll do it.

Point taken. You provide information in the medium and format that you are most comfortable with, and I am grateful for you sharing your knowledge and insights in any way you see fit. Thank you for your service.

And thank you, and the other posters; the site-owner; Administrator; and Moderators for putting up with my sometimes off-the-wall ways.

This Nautilus design is a timeless Classic

Be honest, how may people remember the S.S.R.N. Seaview or the seaQuest DSV 4600 ?
not many, but you say Nautilus people remember this Classic design instantly...
I'd argue that more people remember Seaview than remember SeaQuest DSV! But those two together do not equal the number of people who remember this version of Nautilus.

Thank to YouTube there episodes of Seaview to see
But SeaQuest was a obscure series what just disappear...
so far i know there not even commercial models of the seaQuest DSV 4600

There was a small scale model of the SeaQuest when the series was running. Revell USA, IIRC.

And I've seen some 3d prints plus a cricut file for the texture (or a production version thereof) more recently. Roughly 3ft length.

Monogram, to be exact, see https://fantastic-plastic.com/seaquest-dsv-by-monogram.html. There were also Monogram kits of the Deep Ocean Transport, Stinger, and Ensign Darwin, see https://i0.wp.com/seaquestvault.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/MongramMarch.jpg?ssl=1.

So, how much lighting are you gonna fit this Nautilus with?
Just the array around each salon window. If I remember -- I'll take a shot of them lit tomorrow for the evenings presentation. Don't have time (getting it ready for a January event). Later, I'll do a proper job on the wheel-house interior as this kit has such a wealth of neat do-dads for that space.

The Nautilus look so cool

is possible to build dive model with the Lobby were Captain Nemo figurine stand at view window ?
