China 2025 Victory Day Parade (preparations, new equipment)

Whats the smaller squashed dome antenna on the IFV and the MBT? Appears to be the same component on both but in different places and seemingly poorly placed to be gps/beidou.

It's on the TELs as well - kind of blue force tracker?

Well, at this parade, in addition to the new equipment that was impressive, some musical pieces were also quite memorable. Following the 'Iron Flood March'（钢铁洪流进行曲） in 2019, this new piece is called the 'Unmanned Intelligence Victory March.' （无人智胜进行曲）This piece describes unmanned equipment.

Is it this one? I still like March of Steel Torrent more but it is still pretty good.

1) it's easy to find many people that have the same height when you have ~4x the population of the US.
2) there's a trick that the military does, putting everyone in a height line so that the people standing next to them are very close to the same height. +-0.5"/1cm, and the tallest closest to the audience if you're set up to only see one side.
3) Contacts are a thing, and so are various eye surgeries to correct eyesight. I remember back in the day, the USSR had a whole assembly line for radial keratotomy, I wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese military didn't have such a setup.

I know there are significant differences between the major ethnic groups in China, the classical Japanese, Koreans, Mongolians, etc. I personally find ethnic Koreans the most visually attractive. But I absolutely struggle to try to describe the differences between them!

If it wasn't for the starkly different skin tones in the US, US military formations would be about as visually uniform as these Chinese formations.

This is completely nonsense. 2D ramp is only the most common compression inlet technique in literature as the CFD is relatively simple compared to a more complex 3D geometry. There are plenty of geometries researched that is not pure 2D ramp.

You can even see that the underside just below the inlet is relatively flat and, the bottom of the intake is curved for a shock on lip design that efficiently captures flow from a conical oblique wave generated by the nose cone.

Extremely unsurprising that the only two messages you have on this forum is India beating China and YJ-19 can't be HCM because of a flawed understanding.

And I am sure the same sources will also list the new DF-61 with a dozen or so warheads but it has only 4. The new 10 axle TEL ICBM is believed to have 10-12 warheads and apparently also one of the reason it was not unveiled at parade last year. They thought it would be too provocative, same goes for JL-4 SLBM with multiple warheads. JL-3 also has just 1 like JL-2. And most importantly the DF-27 the ICBM with HGV. G9Q1Xo_aYAEqeXH.jpg

It is the true next generation ICBM with at least dozen warheads. For now called DF-51/A. They have done multiple tests and allegedly the final tests concluded this year, Jan/Jun. It will be basically a Chinese RS-28 but mobile as well as silo compatible. JL-4 SLBM is based on this, with bigger diameter than JL3 which is why it is not compatible with current type 094 SSBN. Only the next gen type 096 can field them.

US intelligence to CNN on June 2020 nuclear tests:

"Evidence collected as part of a subsequent review of the June 2020 event, has led US officials to conclude the test was motivated by China’s pursuit of next-generation nuclear weapons, the sources familiar said. That includes efforts to develop additional weapons systems capable of delivering multiple, miniaturized nuclear warheads from a single missile"

And before I see "this is CZ-11 TEL" NO its not.
That CZ-11 TEL never left the concept/model stage.

Doubt it. Probably more like Peacekeeper / RT-23 or North Korean Hwasong-17. RS-28 is WAY bigger than any of those.

Mobile and being able to be fired from the vehicle transporting it are two different things though. The RS-28 does have a transporter for instance, it just can't launch the missile. Even the silo doesn't do a great job of that either for now.
 
Twelve missiles? That is more than the Trident D-5 SLBM that both the current western ballistic missile submarines can carry, what was the reasoning behind having that many MIRVS in the RS-28?

Reason for mentioning RS-28 is because it is the only ICBM in service/trials with dozen or so warheads besides R36M2, nothing else.

D5 can actually carry 8 Mk5s or 12 Mk4s, though range with 8 Mk5s is about 7,600km and probably 9,000-9,500km with 12 Mk4s.
