I don't understand the reason for your question... No mystery here. It's a two page article on aerial freight, and everything is clearly captioned!

• The first page shows a Northrop cargo transport project using pusher Allison turboprops;
• the second page shows a specially-equipped Bristol Freighter for transport of 24 slaughtered and skinned oxen;
• the text also describes the Fairchild XC-120;
• the final image shows a project for a loading ramp.

Those meat pendulums are hard enough to transport via tractor trailer. Drivers try to time it to where they all want to swing towards the direction of a lane change.

I see no lower lines to to tie the bottoms down.

I'd sooner haul sweaty dynamite--SORCERER style.

This Northrop project appears to be discussed in American Secret Projects, Vol. 2 (U.S. Airlifters, 1941-1961) from pages 173-176.
