Hi folks, I have the pleasure to introduce you my next book, always done with my friend and co-author Michael H. Gorn, dedicated to the NASA X-Planes (and we all know they aren't definitely all planes...) from X-1 to the X-60. It will released by Springer-Praxis next 8th of January 2022.

Please, stay tuned for further info...

Thank you Antonio!

As for Spacecraft, the main drive behind our books is we realize something that we would absolutely read.

Hi,

a continuous series after X-1 to X-45,but does it get the real story of
the X-44 ?.

Oh. And the airplane photos will be in ... Architectural Digest. Sweet!

Kinda like Koku-Fan with the color airplane foldouts was the "Playboy for Airplanes" - except that Miss February didn't have a staple in her belly button. Great drop tanks though!

Yesterday the Springer-Praxis has officially released the book, I keep my finger crossed.

I want to thank all the people has already pre-ordered our book, I can't stand to have in my hands the final (hardcopy) result.

I pre-ordered my copy a while ago, and I just went onto Amazon and noticed that it is finally in stock after being initially listed as unavailable.

Thank you Vahe, frankly I'm not all happy about Springer-Praxis distribution. Let's only think about that both Michael and me, released our work at the end of May 2021...

Received my copy from Amazon - placed the order in September 2021! Have yet to really sit down and peruse in detail but first impression is excellent work.

Well done Archpeppe! Mark

Thank you Mark!!
Also on Micheal's behalf.

While this is not a BAD book, if you're expecting something of the quality of the Jay Miller books as I was (see below) this is not that. There are no photos in this book but instead there are rather low-detail drawings. As for the text I randomly opened to the article on the X-51 to learn that the B-52 launched it from 70,000 feet.

@sferrin

Let me apologize for the typos within the book. While wasn't our intention to compete with Jay Miller, we intended our book as complementary.

Regarding the artworks they are highly detailed but often too small to fully appreciate them. We fought an hard battle with Springer-Praxis to have the biggest size as possible in order to properly house the various drawings (as for Spacecraft).

Some artwork was properly sized some other, unfortunately, not. Anyway Springer-Praxis did an effort in doing X-Planes since, usually, their books are smaller and mostly in b/w.
