Hi,

the MAI E-3 was experimental amphibian monoplane designed by
P.M. Danilov in 1936 for MAI with airframe of Elektron magnesium
alloy, powered by one M-11 engine which was mounted centreline
pylon driving tractor propeller,it was never completed.

So weird,

after getting the book, Летательные аппараты МАИ,which spoke about all MAI aircraft
and Projects,no sign for this one,has anyone a drawing to it ?.

And what is the relationship between MAI and P. M. Danilov. And the second plane was designated Э-3 and not E-3

So what? Is Osprey says it was MAI project this is an absolute truth?

A fascinating web-site describing dozens of experimental Russian and Soviet aircraft.
