has anyone a more info about York XHC-22 Yorkopter VTOL aircraft prototype ?,maybe it was tilt rotor ?,it was appeared in 1956.

Unfortunately, this is one prototype that has resisted my investigations up to now.

What I know however is that Charles H. York worked for Hiser Helicopters at Corona Airport, CA, until he was in his 80s.

One webpage at the NASM clearly identifies the XHC-22 as an experimental tiltrotor.
