Yakovlev Yak-RN-PI Yak-33 SST project

This is a 1961 project by the Yakovlev Design Bureau. The Yak-33 is a supersonic passenger aircraft with three R15-300 engines for 39 passengers. The maximum speed is M=3. Cruising speed M = 2. The range is 4000 km. Fuel - 7 tons in the wing + 2 outboard tanks of 16 tons each

Orginal designation on drawing shown is Yak-RN-PI (I is latin 1). As we know, Yakovlev have used Yak-33 designation at least twice.
I still don't understand why it's promoted now as 'hypersonic airliner'

Based on this project, work began in 1964 on the Yak-33 combat aircraft: long-range interceptors, bombers, and reconnaissance aircraft. They were equipped with 2 or 3 RD36-41 engines, while the VTOL+ variants had 6 RD-36-35 or RD-36-38 lifting engines.
