Where would our technology be without World War 2?

So much of the world we know today was developed or even invented because of World War Two. So if instead of Hitler and co the pre 1930s world had just rumbled on without a major global conflict what would technology have looked like?

No WW2 ? nearly impossible !

Japan will make same mistake and bomb Pearl Harbor.
Germany will attack France because Treaty of Versailles.

But what would no WW2 lead to ?
No computers, no V2 rocket, No assault rifle, no Jet-engine, no Atomic energy & bomb...
Means Technology the World would stick on level 1930s for while,

But like i say WW2 is not to avoid and this WW2 let to fast technological evolution

The war was impossible to stop, but perhaps it could have ended sooner thanks to a very dirty agreement between Hitler and certain British politicians to save his bankrupt empire.

The Germans would have taken Europe, become stronger, and annihilated the Red Army, without the pressure of Allied bombing.

The British would have had to fight endless colonial wars with COIN derivatives of the Hawker Hurricane and Bristol Blenheim and there would have been no money for Whittle.

The question is China... Would an isolationist and cowardly American government have gone to war with Japan because of the bombing of Chinese cities or the invasion of the Dutch colonies?

Possibly they would have hidden behind the fleet and missed the opportunity to become masters of the world.

Another conversion to the gold standard, another great depression, the advance of socialism in America and more or less the same as we have now, but without the internet, without footprints on the moon and without Chernobyl.
