What Was the First Aircraft with Forward-Swept Intakes?

I'm curious what the first aircraft in the world, and the first American aircraft to use a forward-swept intake? I do know the XF-103, while it never flew, had such a feature as of 1950 (at least).

I would check out technical memorandums on the NTRS, by Antonio Ferri. he's the guy often associated with those inlets.
