What happened to Search function ?

I'm not sure a search fonction is a minor feature on a forum like this one...

Perhaps it works on a personal computer, but not on a smartphone?

Nope, doesn't work on PC either. Not using Chrome browser anyway.

Just one slight criticism of the current serach function. If you try to highlight previous search text and type over it, it exits the search box rather than doing it.

This has started glitching again, not sure if it's a result of the recent thread merger issue.

E.g. searches for "US Space Force" and "US UAV and UCAV" turn up nothing.

Ran into that glitch last night myself, though I had logged out at the time. EDIT: I meant the search not working one.

Fixed. Elasticsearch exited of its own accord and didn't restart again. Will need to investigate why.

Now it's finding 'no results' for 'US UAV and UCAV' when I do a title search but it finds the thread when I do a non-title seach.

You are correct, something up with title search. I'll take a look later, meanwhile rebuilding the search index to see if that helps.

FYI, the search function is now working for me fine. I'm using the browser Microsoft Edge.
