The Westbrook Sportster was a two seat low wing monoplane built by the Westbrook Aeronautical Corp of New York. The company started in 1929 and ceased trading in 1931. The company was started by Neil Perdew and John McAfee who had studied together at college.
In the October 1991 Skyways magazine it featured a single page from a Sportster brochure quoting a fly-away price of $2,650 . The text infers that the Sportster had been flying for a year prior to the brochure being printed, so I guess it is more likely to be categorised under Aerospace rather than Early Projects.
It was available as a fixed undercarriage or floatplane variant. It had folding wings and a plywood covering.
