That's a great discovery. Welch designations OW-10 to -15 were all assigned to unbuilt experimental aircraft projects, but this is the first time I've seen one of these. Thanks.

Neat, and the argument that two separate cockpits in two separate fuselages provides redundancy is interesting, though I don't quite understand what kind of dwarves were intended to operate those tail turrets.

Interesting. I knew of twinned fighter projects like the Twin Mustang, but that's the first attack aircraft I've seen in that config.

Neat, and the argument that two separate cockpits in two separate fuselages provides redundancy is interesting, though I don't quite understand what kind of dwarves were intended to operate those tail turrets.

One argument is that on very long missions one pilot can rest while the other flies. Another is, if one pilot is incapacitated the other takes over. Obvious, but very useful for high-risk ground attack aircraft designed to fly right into enemy AA.
