And here are some more Tupolev cryogenic designs, originally posted at Whatifmodelers forum:

The first is what seems to be a LNG/LH2 powered variant of the Tu-334 medium-range airliner.

Second is the Tu-330K LNG fuelled version of the Tu-330 medium freighter. Called Tu-338 in Brassey's.

Last is Tupolev C-Prop, though the original image was captioned Tu-136. It is a light passenger or cargo transport using LNG fuel. Two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67 turboprops, 2,400 kg of LNG fuel, 3,400 kg of cargo.

Dassault, Alenia, Sukhoi are working on joint SSBJ studies. Here are 3 configurations by Sukhoi for "low-boom". Design parameters are a Falcon 50 sized cabin, 4,000nm range and Mach 1.6 cruise.

Very cool! It would have been too disappointing if the only design to come out of Sukhoi Civil Aviation was the subsonic and rather conventional RRJ ;)

The Russians never thought that civil aircraft or otherwise could be boring ...

I remember that the Tupolev Tu-334K was also called the Tu-336, just as the Tu-204K cryogenic plane was referred to as Tu-206.
