I have communicated with Tony Buttler, and he has stated that he has no problem with me producing a "companion" edition (probably on CD or downloadable) to his fighter book, showing some of the designs that did not make it into his edition. As with my Bomber Projects effort, the drawings will be all-new, but based on the originals. It will cover the same time period, but will feature some more bizarre designs, as well as a lot of (especially Boeing) designs that were mentioned and described but not shown.
