Unrealised British 'Mistel' combinations

It definitely is. The worn edges are badly faked as is the crease, the tonality isn't like most ww2 photos. Adobe should revoke the PS license of whoever made it.
 
That is crude Photoshop BS, of course, although in 1940 Mayo did suggest carrying a Blenheim on a Whitley IV.
 
just musing, were the attachment arrangements postulated as being similar to the Mayo/Mercury composite or something more akin to that used on the German Mistel.
many years ago i made a model of the Liberator/Hurricane composite based upon the 'Hurricane Special' artwork but i remain unsure as to the veracity of the depicted illustration ?
