Last year, our Maritime Coast Guard Agency evaluated Austrian Schniebel Camcopter vTUAS and I saw it on display at RIAT 2019 year ago (my photos below).

Amongst the SiKorsky S-92 Helibus, Leonardo AW189, Cessna 404 Titan inter static display.

Anyhow now it’s in service

Is this what it's doing?

Screen grab off ADS-B (I think)

Before you ask, all UAS look like Global Hawks on ADS-B. Even the Global Hawks.

The difference being that Austria (the Alpin one) hosted the very first company offering sense and avoid kits commercially when Airbus mad scientists (literally) convinced their management that they could do better with ADS-B only.

Let's remember also that cam copter host a commercially available dynamic airframe designed in Japan. A very cheap one to say the least.

I remember some years ago, sailing off the Latvian coast, and seeing an AIS target travelling at 99 knots.
It took me some time to realise that it was a SAR helicopter.

To my knowledge, same airframe.
For sure not! Those are two completely different aircraft. They don't have a single part in common.
