the turbine exhaust case area does seem to be quite long. It may be an attempt to create a multifunction system to integrate AB spraybars / flame holders / turbine exhaust swirl straightening with exhaust cavity LO features, emulating the F119 and F135.

It’s probably just a perspective detail missing from this zoomed in image, but the tailcone looks like it is pointing 90 degrees to the flow
