Wouldn't that be an early turbo-prop instead jet? Disregarding that a TP is a jet driving props of course.

Agreed. Not only that but as this is not a definite corporate project but a hypothetical generic design, it absolutely does not belong in this section but in "Theoretical..." instead... ::)

& wouldn't this query/assertion like-wise most properly belong in the 'propulsion' section?

Turbo-shaft geared prop being not primarily 'jet driving' - as such..
