The Republic XF-84H Thunderscreech was one of the fastest propeller driven aircraft ever produced. It was also one of the noisiest, with its propeller tips generating a constant sonic boom powerful enough to induce severe headaches, nausea, and seizures among the ground crew. While such an aircraft would be unsuitable as a combat aircraft, its deafening noise and powerful sonic boom could be useful as a weapon in its own right. Could the Thunderscreech and/or similar aircraft with supersonic propellers have played a major role in psyop operations by blasting remote areas with incessant sonic booms? What kind of effects would be seen on people and wildlife in the area? While sonic booms and loud noise are hazardous to health, could constant sonic booms and loud noise eventually prove fatal to wildlife and people in the area?

It didn't produce sonic booms like a supersonic aircraft would, but instead a loud, terribly annoying sound. Having one fly over you would wake you up and annoy the hell out of you, but unlike a supersonic aircraft, it would be unlikely to cause physical damage to structures.

Reminds me of the sirens mounted on Stukas... and the sound of mosquitoes.

Weird sound but it wouldn't do justice... didn't it produce some low frequency sounds that caused emesis in some people?
