The nosewheel of the F-15I

Hi friends,
a sharp-eyed reader of one of the magazine I contribute to, asked me why the F-15I used by Israeli HHA as carrier for the Black Sparrow target missile has a twin nosewheel instead of the usual single one.
I suppose that this aircraft could be a one-off test-bed used for those kind of test but I never read something about.
Any information?
