Vietnam will be watching the Thai-Cambodian war with great concern. Hanoi doesn’t want a conflict on mainland Indochina to distract it from other pressing issues such as tariff and the South China Sea. A destabilized Indochina will only open the door to great-power meddling.

Thailand has reportedly deployed it's Ukrainian made T-84 Oplot-M main battle tanks in combat for the first time. The tanks are allegedly deployed to Khao Phra Vihan to make a push towards Wat Kaew Sikkha Kiriswara, which previously had Thai soldiers stationed here in 2014. There is currently no independently confirmed information showing these tanks deployed in Combat. We have seen Cambodian T-55's and Thai M-60's so far

There are probably some Vietnam Vets having flashbacks hearing these names again.

It isn't like there isn't enough snake-filled jungle for all parties concerned.

If you are poor there-- you either film baby monkey antics or fight in wars I suppose. It seems like each war is being fought for dumber reasons than the previous ones.

People just can't leave each other alone.
