Hi Everyone!

About a week ago, I saw an aircraft on the internet (I don't recall which website it was from) that I haven't been able to find again, so could someone help me at least identify it?

It's a relatively recent General Aviation aircraft. It's a push-pull configuration, (possibly turboprop), with a low-wing, (it's not the one by Adam Aircraft.)

On the original posting, it looked like the person scanned it from a book like Jane's Aircraft Recognition Guide.

It was a nice looking aircraft and I'd like to get more details about it if I could. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

twin-boom (D-23 like) or classical (Do-335 like) or flying wing or else?

Hi Tophe!

It was a "Do.335-like" aircraft, but it had the nice appearance of a modern aircraft (side-by-side seating), something like you'd find in an Ibis Aerospace Ae270 Ibis or a Pilatus PC-12. It was in this class of aircraft, only with a push-pull configuration.

Dear Chuck,

I think it was Starkraft SK-700;eight seat low wing all
composites twin engined light transport aircraft,in push-
pull configuration,powered by two 350 hp Teledyne-Continental
TSIOL 550A push/tractor engines,each driving a three blade
propeller.

Found it (thanks Hesham! thanks Google!)

How about a push-pull where the pull is a turboprop and the push is a turbofan in the back? Gulfstream American played with one of those several years back.

Hi hesham and Tophe!!!

Thank you so very much for finding this information for me!! I REALLY appreciate it! That's EXACTLY what I was looking for!!

"How about a push-pull where the pull is a turboprop and the push is a turbofan in the back? "
Not only Gulfstream, but also the french Moynet, known for its teaming up with Matra to
built the Matra-Moynet M.360 Jupiter, considered this engine arrangement for the M-2000.

Well, a single jet may be almost a push-pull device in itself: the front fan is pulling, the exhaust is pushing... no?
Suck-squeeze-bang-blow!

In reference to the turboprop/jet Moynet M-2000, the American Jet Industries Hustler was also of a similar concept.

*snaps fingers* That's right, it was American Jet Industries, not Gulfstream, that I was thinking. Though I seem to remember they were together a while as Gulfstream American, or is my memory fading with age? ;)

Allen Paulson is the common link between Gulfstream and AJI. I think AJI was his company and AJI bought Gulfstream from Grumman and the AJI name was dropped. I *think*........

Ah, that would be why it was "Gulfstream American" for a while. Okay, I'm not - quite - losing my marbles.

Looks like you picked the wrong week to stop sniffing airplane glue, Evan:D

Heh, couldn't be helped, we're shut down for the holdays and I can't get close to the production area. ;)

Never heard of this beauty until today while trying to track down some engineering documents.

I was also in awe when I came across this very page a few months ago. Quite a striking design! Shame such aircraft as this, the OMAC Laser or the Learfan, just to name a few, never made it to production status!

Hi Wahubna,

it's here;

Hi,

we must merge those topics;

Also StarKraft has some projects,SK-1100 was a stretch version with 11-seat,a single engined
was SK-700SE and a five-seat SK-500.
