StandOff & PGM Weapons

There is something to be said for having an indigenous production capacity of key systems. Maybe that shows how much they consider it a key capability.

I wonder if the range does something like assume your launching platform has boosted it up into a ballistic trajectory at full afterburner?
 
"The war in Ukraine has underscored the critical need for affordable, mass-producible munitions. In response to this requirement in the long-range engagement domain, Roketsan developed its Mini Cruise Missile.

The missile, designed for deployment from unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs), measures 2.4 metres in length, has a 200 mm diameter, and weighs 125 kg at launch. It is capable of engaging both fixed and moving targets on land and at sea, neutralising them with a 30 kg high-explosive blast-fragmentation warhead. The largest variant in the family, the Barracuda-500, carries a warhead of more than 45 kilograms (99 pounds) out to a range exceeding 926 kilometers (575 miles), and the design can launch from a remarkably wide range of platforms, including multirole fighters like the F-16, F-35, F-15, and F/A-18, as well as bombers, helicopters, and cargo aircraft such as the C-17 and C-130, the latter capable of deploying the missile through a palletized launch system called Rapid Dragon that lets a transport plane drop multiple cruise missiles from its rear cargo ramp rather than requiring a dedicated combat aircraft to carry them.

Anduril's Barracuda cruise-missiles would be a great missile for LM's Rapid Dragon launch-pallet platform.

I would guess it is being considered for FAMM-P, along with Rusty Dagger. Both have been type classified (AGM-188/189).

RAACM was chosen for FAMM-L.

Ukraine has developed a PGM series for bomber drones. The Firefly kit can be added to bombs from 2-20lbs and can be produced >10,000/month. It is compatible with Vampire. Kazhan, Heavy Shot, Perun, Nemesis and other multicopter bombers.

Two pics I took at one of the AAD (African Aerospace & Defence) shows in South Africa - I cannot remember which year though..

Two different types of Chinese PGMs - They had different ranges and seeker types - again I cannot remember much more, nor their designations/names - perhaps someone with better knowledge on this topic can help us out here..?

Heres another surprising one,having just seen pics of the Armenian AF using the Iranian Yasin glide bomb,I then came across the Indonesian BTS250 glide bomb,which is an exact duplicate of the Iranian Yasin.
Oddly tho the company manufacturing it claims its the result of a partnership with the UAE. o_O

Not familiar with the type but it looks like a powered glidebomb kit like JDAM-LR. First is simple impact fuse, second looks like some kind of proximity or terminal radar seeker fuse (eg Quicksink).

That doesnt really make that much sense considering the UAE unveiled its own family of Al-Tariq guidance kits for dumb bombs back in 2013[?].
Theres even a long range version with a wing kit called Al-Tariq LR.
I think if they were going to be offering the indonesians anything,then it would`ve been that.

The color looks similar. It's the FT series.

CoAspire and Zone5 produce RAACM and Rusty Dagger, the two missiles in the ERAM program (ETA: the Ukrainian one, not the SM-6). So I assume this is a direct buy of those missiles, though it could also be for future products instead of. But given that it is an OTA buy, I am guessing it is the weapons already being delivered by these manufacturers.
