According to an article I have read about Mikoyan low cost fighter and attack projects of the mid 80s, these are some costs.

Mikoyan low cost fighter 2.2 million rubles (Could be related to "33" but described as 1x RD-33, canard delta)
Mikoyan MiG-29 3.7 million rubles
Sukhoi Su-27 5 million rubles

Mikoyan low cost attack aircraft 1.2 million rubles ("101" project, by former Su-25 designer Yuri Ivashechkin)
Sukhoi Su-25 3.5 million rubles

This detail is surprising. I would have expected the fairly simple Su-25 to be far less costly than the MiG-29.

Perhaps the relatively remote location its Tbilisi, Georgia factory inflated the costs associated with the Su-25.

An unnamed "Mikoyan low cost" fighter with a single RD-33 and a "canard delta" layout?

Could this have been a scaled down counterpart to Babak's Su-37 canard delta?

I also have never heard of the Mikoyan "101 project?"

It depends mainly on political negotiation. For example Czechoslovakia paid at the end of 80s for every single MiG-29 in fly-away configuration really unbelievable price 136 000 000 Kčs. This was only about 4,5 mil. USD.

MiG-31 - 8 million rubles. (1980 - 90)
The modern price of the Russian warplane - 20000 roubles for one kilogram of the maximal{maximum} takeoff weight.
