I've been doing a lot of research into the Fairey Barracuda as I work toward building some 1/72 scale models of them and I need some information.

The Barracuda III was intended as an ASW platform. I have found some information on it's weapons and sensors but not enough. This variant carried and used sonobuoys both during and after World War Two but I have yet to find information and drawings on how many it could carry and how they carried and deployed.

Can someone help me fill in the blanks.

Thanks in advance.

As to deployment, on the Barracuda TR Mk.III, the Telegraphist Air Gunner hand-dropped the sonobuoys through a chute behind his lower radio compartment. Sorry, can't help with the rest.

Thanks. That's more information than I had before.
