In Tushino air show in 1961, Russia relesed Tu-22 Blinder, M-50 Baunder, Tu-128 Fiddler, Be-10 jet flying boat Yak-28 and Mig Ye-152A to the west side. The west side misunderstand that Ye-152A as Mach 2.5 class Mig-23 and named Flipper, M-50 as nuclear power bomber, Tu-128 as bomber, Tu-22 as Mach 2 class strategic bomber. In Domodedovo air show in 1967, Russia released Mig-25, Mig-23, Su-15, Su-22 and Freehand to the west side.
United States surprised very much to see these fighters and decided to develop new fighter, F-14 and F-15.
