Hello, I recently got the chance to visit the basement of the San Diego Air and Space Museum where I found this engine, the Rocky Mountain Steel Products Inc. “Pegasus”
It came with a plaque which gives some basic info but I’d love to know more if any of y’all happen to know anything. The plaque mentions the engine is a 9 cylinder aircooled radial, with a bore of 4.2625 inches and a stroke of 5.5 inches. The engine has a displacement of 832 cubic inches and it produces 225 horsepower at sea level. The engine was designed by Charles F. Willard. The engine was also produced in 1929.
