Not sure this is the right place for this, but: I've just been informed that aerospace historian/author Robert Bradley ("Convair Advanced Designs") passed away Friday.

Not sure this is the right place for this, but: I've just been informed that aerospace historian/author Robert Bradley ("Convair Advanced Designs") passed away Friday.

Sad news, though he had a long and interesting life.

"I was told the news by Bob's family today. I am quite shocked and very sad to learn this! He passed away last Friday after a brief illness, but I have no further information.

Bob was a complete gentleman, a great chap and helped me many times with all sorts of requests, and not just for Convair. He will be missed and he leaves a large gap in this aviation history world of ours. But he was able to leave his mark with two excellent books on Convair Projects."
