It is with sincere regret that we note the passing of Fred Ordway (1927-2014).

A task so complex that NASA official visiting the movie production in England label it "NASA EAST"
in fact Ordway provide Kubrick with so much material that production as move from New York office to England
needed 20 heavy trucks and cargo ship for paperwork alone!

without the collaboration of Frederick Ordway, Kubrick would have just made a common 1960s sci-fi movie.
