Replacing the M113 and FV432

Make use of what you've ... and plenty of MRAPs got chucked together during 'The Forever Wars'.

But not MRAP - from the GWOT all the way back to the South African bush wars - was ever tailored for peer conflicts. Certainly MRAPs can be used as troop transports but the very attributes of mine-resistance make them awkward to use as APCs
Every APC should be relatively mine resistant.

Agreed. IIUC, Patria is relying upon ground clearance rather than V-hull or thicker armour. I would guess that the latter will eventually be offered ... but at cost to payload, obviously.

BTW, should probably emphasise that TRACKX sprang from the EDF's FAMOUS2 programme so, technically, it is not a purely Patria project - having been funded by the EU along with additional funds from 9 x member countries. From outside the EU, the tracks are Canada and the engine American.
