Renault O1
'French Aircraft of the First World War' by Davilla and Soltan has two photos and a 1/144th scale 'provisional' 3-view.
1 aircraft constructed, two 420 to 450hp Renault engines. Loaded weight 6,500 kg, payload 1,200 kg.
The aircraft was constructed at the Renault 'O' factory in Billancourt, thus the designation O1.
The aircraft was completed around the time of the armistiace and then stored at Villacoublay, it is not known if the O1 ever flew.
Evidently development was halted with the end of the war, the aircraft was later returned to Billancourt where it was destroyed some time later.
Measuring off of the drawing gives provisional dimensions of:
Wingspan: 25.2 m
Length: 16.4 m
Details visible on the photos are missing on the drawings. The aircraft type is painted on the vertical tail as:
Renault
O-1
