"Rote Plätze" (i. e. "Red Squares") is the title of a very detailed description of Soviet/Russian airfields and air bases in the former GDR. It starts with the temporary airfields in East Prussia during the last months of WWII and gives an excellent overview on the beginning, changing and ending of the presence of the Soviet AF in East Germany. 300 pages with 575 illustrations for 39.90 €. Unfortunately for readers outside Germany: It's completely written in German (no English summaries). Nevertheless, highly recommended.
